Dr. Lajpatrai Mehra is the founding father of Neurotherapy. His
dedication and inscription towards the welfare of mankind has made
many miracles possible. In his 78 years of life he has devoted 50 years to
serve people all across the nation through Neurotherapy.
Even at this ripe age he works everyday without a single day spent
on leisure just to fulfill the only dream he has - To create a healthy and
affluent India.
Dr. Lajpatrai Mehra’s Neurotherapy, also popularly known as LMNT, practiced since 1943, is a medicine less manipulative therapy evolved out of the ancient natural Indian Healing therapies blended with a deep scientific study of physiology and anatomy. It involves a disciplined study of the human body with respect to each organ or gland and i t5 respective function in order to keep the system functioning in the best healthy state.This unique therapy aims to restore the body balance so that I can initiate its own repairs.In other words the therapy makes the body capable of treating its own problems. The therapy works by stimulating an appropriate organ with any deformity, by regulating its body fluid supplies and nerve current to restore the balance of energy. The diagnosis is based on a complete study of all medical reports and diagnosis combined with the own diagnostic methods of the therapy.
Birendra Prasad ,had the passion to serve people since the days of his early childhood, which his parents and elders used to mention. After completion of his Graduation examination from Durgapur in West Bengal, He heard from friend that there is an interview being held nearby for selection of candidates who will be trained as Health Professionals. Sensing an opportunity to serve, He rushed for the interview being conducted by Sewa Bharti. By God’s grace he was one of the successful candidates chosen to pursue the Neurotherapy Course.
After that he was asked to attend in-house practical classes for a year in Punjab in the year 2001. After completion from Punjab he moved to West Bengal for another three months of specialized practical training. He then attended and successfully completed a One Year Diploma Course at Mumbai at Dr. Lajpatrai Mehra’s Neurotherapy Ashram in the year 2003.
He then joined Sewa Bharti Jammu’s Neurotherapy Centre as therapist and was made In-charge for all the five centers of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, where he served for almost 4 years, during which he also had the opportunity to treat patients at Tripura for a brief period of 4 months. He then independently set my own Neurotherapy clinic at Delhi and it has been a remarkable journey of over 13 years , where he had the honour and satisfaction of treating thousands and thousands of patients with various ailments very satisfactorily.
Neurotherapy is very much an indigenous form of treatment. To add up to his potential, he underwent a three and a half years Diploma course in Naturopathy and Yoga in the year 2010 from Gandhi Smarak Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti, New Delhi. So now he can certainly claim to be one of the most acclaimed Neurotherapist in the country. He also have had the fortune to visit Thailand on four occasions for conducting Neurotherapy Camps. On his very first visit to Thailand, he had stayed there for over 4 months and trained few interested people who are now capable of treating minor ailments through Neurotherapy.
The zeal to serve more and more people all through the country has encouraged him to conduct more than 100 free Neurotherapy camps across the length and breadth of India and promote Neurotherapy treatment to a larger cross section of the society. As a recognition to his effort in the field of Neurotherapy, he has been conferred the responsibility of National Coordinator of “Neurotherapy Research and Training Institute”.
